Walnut-Basil Turkey Patties

Walnut-Basil Turkey Patties

Ingredients

1cup  breadcrumbs 
3/4cup  ground walnuts 
3/4tsp.  dried basil leaves 
1/4tsp.  salt 
1/8tsp.  pepper 
1egg, slightly beaten 
1lb.  ground turkey 
2tbsp.  butter 
4sesame seed buns (optional) 

Directions

In a shallow dish combine breadcrumbs, walnuts, basil, salt and pepper. In another shallow dish, combine egg and 2 tablespoons water.
Shape ground turkey into four patties. Dip patties into egg mixture and coat with breadcrumb mixture.
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add turkey patties. Cook 3 to 5 minutes per side or until done (170°F). Serve on sesame seed buns, if desired.
