Strip Steak with Herb Butter

Ingredients

4New York strip steaks, cut 1 inch thick 
1tbsp.  butter 
1tsp.  finely chopped fresh parsley 
1tsp.  chopped fresh chives 
Dash curry powder 
Dash pepper 

Directions

Preheat broiler. Place steaks on unheated rack of broiler pan. Broil 3 to 4 inches from heat to desired doneness, turning once. (Allow 10 to 12 minutes for medium-rare and 12 to 15 minutes for medium.)
Meanwhile, combine butter, parsley, chives, curry powder and pepper in bowl; mix well. Divide butter into 4 servings; serve melted atop steaks.
