Spicy Pesto Nuts |  |
Ingredients
| 2/3 | cup
chopped fresh basil
| | 1/2 | cup
grated Parmesan cheese
| | 2 | tbsp.
pine nuts
| | 2 | cloves garlic, minced
| | 1/2 | tsp.
salt
| | 3 | tbsp.
olive oil
| | 2 | cups
pecan halves
| | 2 | cups
slivered almonds

Directions
 | Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray 15 1/2x10 1/2x1-inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray or line with heavy-duty aluminum foil. |  | Position knife blade in food processor bowl; add basil, Parmesan cheese, pine nuts, garlic and salt. Process until smooth. With processor running, pour oil through food chute in slow, steady stream until combined. Spread this pesto mixture evenly over pecans and almonds in prepared pan. |  | Bake 13 to 15 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes, until toasted. Cool completely on paper towels. |
