Simple Southwestern Filets

Ingredients

2tbsp.  fresh lime juice 
4(4-oz.)  beef filet mignons 
1tbsp.  brown sugar 
2tsp.  kosher salt 
1tsp.  chili powder 
1tsp.  ground cumin 
1tsp.  paprika 
1tsp.  black pepper 
2tbsp.  butter 
1tsp.  olive oil 
Fresh cilantro springs, red or green salsa (optional) 

Directions

Squeeze lime juice over steaks; set aside.
Combine brown sugar, salt, chili powder, cumin, paprika and black pepper in small bowl. Rub brown sugar mixture over steaks.
Melt butter with oil in large skillet over medium-high heat; add steaks, and cook 8 minutes. Turn and cook 5 minutes more or until desired degree of doneness. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with salsa, if desired.
