Preheat grill to medium. Crush peppercorns in a mortar, or place inside a folded cloth and crush with a mallet or rolling pin. Press crushed peppercorns into both sides of meat.
Grill steaks to desired doneness, turning once and seasoning with salt to taste. (Allow 15 to 18 minutes for medium-rare or 18 to 22 minutes for medium.)
When steak is done, drizzle olive oil on each side. Serve immediately.
