Roast Beef Dipped Sandwiches

Ingredients

114 1/2 oz.  can beef broth 
1tbsp.  tomato paste 
1/4tsp.  garlic powder 
1/4tsp.  dried rosemary 
4white or whole-wheat French baguettes, split lengthwise 
3/4cup  thin slices deli roast beef 
8thin slices deli Swiss cheese (1/3 lb.) 
Deli coleslaw (optional) 

Directions

Combine broth, tomato paste, garlic powder and rosemary in small saucepan. Bring to boiling over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to low; simmer several minutes to blend flavors.
Preheat oven to 250°F. Arrange roast beef on bottom half of baguettes; top with cheese. Close sandwiches and place on baking sheet. Heat until cheese begins to melt and sandwich is heated.
Serve sandwiches with individual dishes of broth mixture for dipping. Serve with deli coleslaw, if desired.
