One Dish Sauage and Beans

Ingredients

1lb.  bulk pork sausage 
1lb.  ground beef 
1medium onion, chopped 
3(16-oz.)  cans pinto beans, rinsed and drained 
1(16-oz.)  can baked beans 
2cups  barbecue sauce 
1/2cup  packed brown sugar 
1/2cup  Worcestershire sauce 
1 to 2tbsp.  chopped jalapeño peppers* 
1 to 2tsp.  chili powder 
1tbsp.  mustard 
1/3tsp.  ground cumin 

Directions

In large Dutch oven cook sausage until brown. Drain fat. Remove sausage. Set aside.
In same Dutch oven cook ground meat and onion until meat is brown. Drain fat. Stir in sausage, pinto beans, baked beans, barbecue sauce, brown sugar, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, jalapeño peppers, chili powder and cumin. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer 30 minutes.
*Use caution when handling hot peppers. Wear disposable gloves or wash hands thoroughly in hot, soapy water.
