Preheat oven to 375°F. Halve pears lengthwise and core. Place cored side up in medium baking dish. Spoon 1/2 teaspoon brown sugar and 1/2 teaspoon butter into each cavity. Pour grape juice into baking dish. Bake 20 to 25 minutes, or until pear halves are tender and lightly browned.
Meanwhile, stir together cheese, granulated sugar and cinnamon.
To serve, arrange one pear half per plate. Top with 1 1/2 tablespoons cheese mixture and sprinkle each serving with 1 1/2 teaspoons walnuts, if desired.
