Brussels Sprouts with Almonds

Brussels Sprouts with Almonds

Ingredients

1lb.  fresh Brussels sprouts 
1tbsp.  olive oil 
1clove garlic, minced 
1tsp.  salt 
1/2tsp.  pepper 
1/3cup  slivered almonds, toasted 
1tbsp.  balsamic vinegar 

Directions

Preheat oven to 425°F. Cut off and discard stem ends of Brussels sprouts. Slash bottom of each sprout with a shallow X. Toss with olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper in roasting pan.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes. Place in large bowl; sprinkle with almonds and drizzle with balsamic vinegar.
