Breakfast Ham and Cheese Grill

Ingredients

8slices whole-wheat bread 
1/2lb.  reduced-fat deli American or Swiss cheese 
1/4lb.  thinly sliced low-sodium deli ham 
1 large egg, slightly beaten 
1 1/4cups  nonfat milk 
1tsp.  dry mustard 
2cups  cut-up mixed fresh fruit 

Directions

Make sandwiches on wheat bread by evenly dividing cheese and ham on 4 slices of bread; top with remaining bread slices.
Combine egg, milk, and mustard in shallow pie plate or dish; blend well. Dip sandwiches into milk mixture, turning to coat both sides.
Heat large nonstick skillet over medium-low heat. Cook sandwiches until golden brown on both sides and cheese is melted. Serve with cut-up fresh fruit.
