Ingredients
| 8 | slices whole-wheat bread
| | 1/2 | lb.
reduced-fat deli American or Swiss cheese
| | 1/4 | lb.
thinly sliced low-sodium deli ham
| | 1 | large egg, slightly beaten
| | 1 1/4 | cups
nonfat milk
| | 1 | tsp.
dry mustard
| | 2 | cups
cut-up mixed fresh fruit

Directions
 | Make sandwiches on wheat bread by evenly dividing cheese and ham on 4 slices of bread; top with remaining bread slices. |  | Combine egg, milk, and mustard in shallow pie plate or dish; blend well. Dip sandwiches into milk mixture, turning to coat both sides. |  | Heat large nonstick skillet over medium-low heat. Cook sandwiches until golden brown on both sides and cheese is melted. Serve with cut-up fresh fruit. |
