Smothered Italian Chicken |

Ingredients
| 1 | 26-oz.
jar spaghetti sauce
| | 1/2 | cup
Italian breadcrumbs
| | 1/4 | cup
shredded Parmesan cheese
| | 1 | tbsp.
chopped fresh basil
| | 1 | tbsp.
chopped fresh parsley
| | 1 | egg, beaten
| | 2 | tbsp.
milk
| | 6 | skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
| | 3 | tbsp.
vegetable oil
| | 2 | cups
shredded Mozzarella cheese

Directions- Preheat oven to 350°F. In 3-quart rectangular baking dish spread about 1 cup of the spaghetti sauce. Set aside.
- In shallow dish combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, basil and parsley. In another shallow dish combine egg and milk. Dip chicken in egg mixture. Roll in breadcrumb mixture.
- In 12-inch skillet brown chicken on both sides in hot oil. Transfer chicken to baking dish. Pour remaining sauce over chicken. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
- Bake, uncovered, about 30 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink.
