How to be your own hair stylist |

• Make sure that your hair is well conditioned. Using a conditioner in the shower as well as a leave-in conditioner will prevent frizzy hair and damage to the hair when styling. • Quality counts so make sure you have a quality, properly working hair dryer and straightening iron. • Open the bathroom door. Things will go a lot more quickly if you’re not trying to dry your hair in a humid room. • To get more shape and take less time, rough-dry your hair first and then when it is mostly dry, blow-dry with a round brush. • Dry your hair in sections. Heat your brush with your blow-dryer, and then run it through your hair, leaving the blow-dryer right above the brush. To avoid heat damage, always keep your hair-dryer or your hair moving. • Don't worry if you see a little steam – it's your styling products reacting to the heat. • To help set the style and avoid static, use your hair dyer's cold blast option on each section. • Look in the mirror and tell yourself you love your new look. |
